In a Popular Mechanics interview, American inventor, Dean Kamen said, “Nothing that has value, real value, has no cost. Not freedom, not food, not shelter, not healthcare”(2009). The things that matter to human society should not cost a ridiculous amount of money.
The Democratic presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, wants to extend Obamacare, which costs middle income Americans money. Republican national candidates like Donald Trump, think the price of healthcare is too excessive under the current plan. The United States government needs to create a better healthcare policy that allows all Americans affordable medical care.
What should be in a conclusion?
Restate your thesis (try to do this in different words)
Summarize your key points of your viewpoint. (These are the reasons you mentioned in your 2nd paragraph.)

Sample conclusion
Americans need to be provided affordable health care options in the United States. Laws passed by government need to protect all residents in this country. Families need to have access to doctors and medicine that they can afford. Kamen would agree that healthcare policy needs to become a reachable goal for all Americans. Choosing the right candidate on election day, will enable the U.S to continue to live up to its founding ideals of life, liberty, and happiness for all.

Politicians, such as Hillary Clinton feel that the Affordable Care Act or “Obamacare” should continue with minimal changes. On her website, Clinton states that she will “Defend and expand the Affordable Care Act, which covers 20 million people. Hillary will stand up to Republican-led attacks on this landmark law—and build on its success to bring the promise of affordable healthcare to more people and make a “public option” possible (2016). That idea makes sense. All Americans should be able to have affordable medical care. A government's job is to protect it’s citizens. The future president of the United States needs to protect the health and welfare of all Americans. However, when Secretary Clinton wants to continue with a program that poses a hefty penalty on those that do not choose Obamacare, that is un-American. Healthline Media Group reports, “If you’re uninsured and don’t obtain an exemption, you must pay a modest fine. The fine is expected to increase over time” (2016). A democratic government should not force its citizens to pay for a plan it does not want. It needs to provide choice to its citizens. Donald Trump’s plan will allow Americans to choose what plan suits their needs.

Remember to add transitional phrases between ideas.
Sample position paragraph:
Healthcare is an essential right that should be offered to all Americans at an appropriate cost. The Pro Con organization states on their website that “33 million people in the United States did not have health insurance in 2014 according to the US Census Bureau” (2016). This statistic is mind boggling. The United States is one of the richest countries in the world. It is preposterous that 33 million people could not get affordable treatment. There needs to be changes in government that help people, especially those below the poverty line in finding affordable doctor visits and prescriptions. Likewise, Donald Trump, the republican presidential candidate, adds on to this idea. Trump’s website says, “Completely repeal Obamacare. Our elected representatives must eliminate the individual mandate. No person should be required to buy insurance unless he or she wants to” (2016). Middle income families should not be forced to buy a plan because the government says so. Donald Trump wants families to be able to choose the plan that fits them. By forcing a plan on someone is not the role of the government. It is so important that all people can get the appropriate health care that they need at a suitable cost.
